Description

A Level 2 Early Years Practitioner apprenticeship has arisen at Alpha Day Nursery, the individual needs to have a passion to work with babies and children to further develop their career within the nursery setting.

Alpha Day Nursery is a Good Ofsted settingand they care for babies from 6 months to 5 years old.

Specific Responsibilities
In co-operation with the Daycare Manager and other senior staff;

To help staff and support children's learning and all round development
To know and support the vision, policies and procedures of the Centre
To work flexibly and cooperatively within the team
To be a key person for a group of children Additional Responsibilities
To attend to the health, welfare and safety of the children at all times
To build positive relationships with children and their families
Help to provide exciting and challenging appropriate activities for young children to promote their learning and development in an involving, playful way
To complete individual learning journals for key children, recording significant developments in their learning and identifying and planning for next steps in learning and development
