Here in the Community Nursing administration team, we are looking for someone with proven administrative and secretarial skills.

Are you confident in your communication style? Are you a puzzler and problem solver and able see a task through to completion? Having a positive and flexible approach to work would be an advantage and knowing how to prioritise workload and be organised is essential.

It is important that you foster a strong sense of accountability and demonstrate a good level of detail in your work.

The main emphasis of the role will be providing administrative support to our Triage Service supporting the health professionals with call-handling responsibilities.


  • Work alongside Community Nursing Staff to deliver administrative support to the Triage service. To use the Patient records database system (Rio) for inputting GP referrals, Care information, uploading documents, scanning documents, and updating case notes for all incoming phone calls/referrals via the health hubs and directly from external sources to the Community Nursing Teams.
  • Collate and distribute the daily Triage tracking spreadsheets to relevant teams.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels in the organisation
  • To be able to problem solve and use own initiative
  • Good organisational skills, including time management and ability to prioritise
  • Ability to work within a team but able to work alone when required
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail is paramount
  • A full driving licence to drive in the UK and access to a vehicle on a daily basis
