Description

Alternative Plastics have a great opportunity for a Sales Administrator to join their growing team on the Bermuda Industrial Estate.

We provide onsite parking, company uniform, performance related pay, a Christmas bonus and holiday entitlement of 32 days including bank holidays.

The main duties of the Sales Administrator role include:

  • First point of contact for customer enquiries and orders for goods and services
  • Provide quotes and input orders using our inhouse quote system and Sage
  • Assist in maintaining a workshop diary and prepare plans to accompany orders
  • Process payments by debit and credit cards, allocate stock, raise invoices, and balance notes
  • Sending out samples as required.
  • Process and arrange collection of returns with our carriers, and process goods back into stock
The essential requirements for the successful Sales Administrator include:

  • A background in Customer Service/Sales Admin with good communication skills both written and verbal
  • IT literate. Conversant with MS office including Word, Excel and Outlook to intermediate level. Conversant with Sage
  • The ability to read and understand simple diagrams, sketches, and datasheets. You will need an eye for detail and high level of accuracy
  • A good standard of Maths. Ability to do simple arithmetics to ensure packages are sent out correctly
The hours of work are Monday to Friday. This is an office based role.

The salary is £22,000-£25,000 dependent on experience and inclusive of £1,500 performance related pay.


To be suitable for this role you may previously have worked as a Sales Administrator, Sales Order Processor, Customer Services Coordinator, Customer Services Administrator.
