currently recruiting for an experienced Centre Coordinator to facilitate, oversee and deliver pre-employment learning programmes with our partner work experience organisation.
Applicants must possess the following:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience of Apprenticeship/Traineeship delivery and assessment.
- Proven management skills in post 16 education.
- Knowledge of ESFA funding rules.
- Experience of delivering Functional skills in Maths & English.
- Full assessors award, TAQA or equivalent.
- Teaching Qualification desirable.
- GCSE Grade A to C, or equivalent for English and Maths.
- Strong ICT skills, organisational skills, and ability to work on own initiative
Outline of Duties:
- Support our work experience employer with recruitment of learners onto the Pre Employment programme.
- Ensure learner eligibility is checked prior to enrolment & induction, including right to work/study in UK and funding eligibility.
- Arrange and facilitate learner inductions onto the Pre-Employment programme ensuring learners understand the programme content and length.
- Complete and submit learner enrolment documents in line with previously agreed dates.
- Plan and deliver functional skills in Maths and English to learners.
- Plan and invigilate functional skills exams.
- Prepare and close learner files at the end of their programme and submit all evidence to Head Office.
- Complete all learner tracking documentation including learner destination records.
- Follow ESFA funding guidelines to ensure learners progress and achieve in accordance with funding regulations.
- Support and contribute to ESFA audit requirements.
- Support and contribute to Ofsted requirements
Hours of Work:
Monday to Friday 8.45 to 5.15 pm
(37.5 hours per week)
Salary:
Up to £35,000 per annum, dependent on qualifications and experience.
Additional Information:
- This role does not support hybrid working or working from home.
- Eligible for company pension after qualifying period.
- Eligible for company health care scheme after qualifying period.
- Company laptop & mobile phone provided.
