Description
- Completing EDD on prospective and existing clients
- Conducting monthly review (QC) of a % of accounts on boarded for each risk
- Act as an escalation point for problem solving of team members
- Conduct risk event driven reviews for Risk Committee where necessary
- Responsible for identifying suspicious activity and following process to report
- Provide detailed AML analysis of deals based transactions
- Liaising directly with Fund Administrators and Corporate Service Providers to
- Assist with the production of MI around various client profiles and verticals
- Ensure periodic reviews are delegated and conducted
- Involvement in the development of new systems for KYC efficiency
- Involvement in the delivery of compliance projects ensuring technical excellence
- Stay updated by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional
- Support the delivery of compliance training to new members of the department
- Work closely with the Compliance Manager and MLRO to identify any major
- Drafting and updating standard operating procedures where necessary
- Assist where required with Correspondent banking queries, e,g,. RFIs
- Master various compliance platforms and systems to streamline department
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in finance, law or related field
- 3+ years of experience in compliance, risk management or regulatory affairs
- Knowledge of financial services laws and regulations, such as the FINRA, SEC and FCA
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Happy to go into the office 34 days a week
