Description

  • Completing EDD on prospective and existing clients
  • Conducting monthly review (QC) of a % of accounts on boarded for each risk
classification against policy to ensure adequate oversight

  • Act as an escalation point for problem solving of team members
  • Conduct risk event driven reviews for Risk Committee where necessary
  • Responsible for identifying suspicious activity and following process to report
these where required

  • Provide detailed AML analysis of deals based transactions
  • Liaising directly with Fund Administrators and Corporate Service Providers to
establish internal controls

  • Assist with the production of MI around various client profiles and verticals
  • Ensure periodic reviews are delegated and conducted
  • Involvement in the development of new systems for KYC efficiency
  • Involvement in the delivery of compliance projects ensuring technical excellence
and a practical, business driven approach

  • Stay updated by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional
publications

  • Support the delivery of compliance training to new members of the department
  • Work closely with the Compliance Manager and MLRO to identify any major
issues in relation to compliance.

  • Drafting and updating standard operating procedures where necessary
  • Assist where required with Correspondent banking queries, e,g,. RFIs
  • Master various compliance platforms and systems to streamline department
workflow


Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, law or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in compliance, risk management or regulatory affairs
  • Knowledge of financial services laws and regulations, such as the FINRA, SEC and FCA
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Happy to go into the office 34 days a week
