Cloud Services Director, £90,000 OTE,Remote position
Purpose
As a member of the
Senior Management Team of two expanding UK businesses, the newly appointed Cloud Services Director for a
leading software company, will play a pivotal role
creating and delivering a
strategic plan to
migrate software products to Microsoft Azure
cloud infrastructure.
You will be responsible for the launch of Cloud services to customers, followed by the continued maintenance and development of the services.
Remote working conditions available, with occasional travel to offices in Poole and client site visits
Responsibilities
As the
Cloud Services Director you'll:
- Develop the cloud-based service offering in line with the strategy plan, meeting performance, delivery, security and cost targets
- Work closely with in house development and infrastructure teams, as well as 3rd party resource to deliver the migration plan
- Define the commercial proposal to deliver continuous growth, whilst controlling delivery costs
- Manage and track the delivery of the cloud service to customers
- Establish, manage and train the support and maintenance teams for Cloud Services
Background
The successful
Cloud Services Directorwill have:
- A proven track record in the migration of on-premise software to cloud infrastructure.
- A solid understanding of Azure Cloud Services, as well as Linux/Windows, networking and security.
- Senior management experience, with effective managerial skills
- Project management experience, preferably on large scale migrations
- A demonstrable customer focussed and collaborative approach to projects
