Trade Counter Assistant - Full-Time 40 Hrs, Permanent


We are looking for a punctual, hardworking, and committed team player with a desire to join our Bromborough team within our trade counter and wholesale distribution business.


The Full-time position is in our fast-paced Bromborough branch, and you'll be on your feet serving lots of customers and doing plenty of bending and lifting carrying out various warehouse processes, so you'll need a reasonable level of fitness.

The role requires the following duties.

  • Serving customers, processing their orders, and dealing with enquiries both over the counter and the telephone.
  • Picking, checking, packing, labeling, and dispatching of website orders to meet dispatch deadlines.
  • Checking deliveries from suppliers and achieving targets by working together with colleagues.
  • Manual handling must be able to lift and move boxes of up to 20 Kg whilst processing and loading orders.
  • Contributing to Health & Safety standards through cleaning and delivering housekeeping standards.
  • Working one Sunday shift each month.

Due to the repetitive, physical nature of the job, applicants must be able to lift and carry boxes of 20 Kg.


Hours 40 hours per week, working shifts 5 days from 7, Monday to Friday either 08:00 am to 17:00 pm OR 10:00 am to 19:00 pm (less 30 minute unpaid break).

One Sunday shift each month between 07:00 am and 15:00 pm.


Salary:
£11.32 per hour
, including a 3-month probation period.
