Description

The Head of Credit Risk Analysis is a key role within Verastar & the Operations Management team, ensuring that there is a fit for purpose Credit Risk policy in place aligned to the firm's risk appetite & OKRs.

What you'll be doing

You will be able to develop the credit risk strategy for a multiproduct cross industry customer portfolio working with key 3rd party suppliers within Credit industry.
You will be accountable for the creation and maintenance of the credit risk policy.
You will work with the wider Debt Recovery, Onboarding & Accounts Receivable Heads of Department to ensure process & policy are designed & developed to support the credit risk policy.
Work closely with the collection teams regarding debtor performance and ensure that operational requirements are met & federated through to the debt policy/procedures.
You will be able to build, develop and maintain the Credit Risk strategy and the models working closely with Data & Insights Director & key industry third party suppliers.
You will take on providing regular updates on the development and implications of the credit risk work directly to the Chief Execs & the capital investment board.
Ensure regular systematic audits and reviews of the Credit vetting strategy, process and procedure are completed.

Experience

Previous experience in a Senior Credit Risk role, with accountability for the design and deliver of Credit Risk policy is essential.
Experience working within a complex business
Demonstrable experience of working directly with C suite execs
Ability to analyse large data sets and provide exec level summaries.
Experience of designing/amending credit score cards with demonstrable evidence of success in improving portfolio health / bad debt losses
Previous use of SQL/Relational databases.
Advanced Excel ability.

Salary:
£57,000.00 per year
