As a Administration Assistant, you will carry out general administration support to the Howden Compressors Team and provide full confidential assistance to the Executive Assistant and admin duties as required.

What Needs To Be Done?

  • Proactive an efficient range of flexible, multifunctional administrative support to the Howden Compressors team.
  • Organise and arrange domestic and international travel via online travel management system, including flights, car hire and hotels.
  • Organise and arrange business visas and passports including the preparation of necessary invitation letters and paperwork.
  • Assist with arranging meetings, including tea/coffee, catering and meeting room housekeeping is to standard where required, ensuring inhouse databases are maintained.
  • Event management including assisting with organising conferences, corporate hospitality and social events where required.
  • Act as a Buyer utilising Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP system for incidental items as required.
  • Maintain stock of office stationery and kitchen supplies, including refreshments within the HCO conference rooms.
  • Provide annual leave cover for Executive Assistant & Operations Support Manager as required.
  • Assist with general office duties including printing, photocopying, organising/maintaining filing systems, organising incoming/outgoing mail etc.
  • Act as a point of contact for issues with office equipment within HCO and escalate accordingly.
  • Comply with, at all times, all Howden Health & Safety rules in order to contribute to a culture of continuous improvement in Health & Safety throughout the Business.

  • HNC Business/Secretarial or equivalent
