Job Description:

Morgan McKinley is looking for an experienced Management Consultant specialising in Sustainability to join a London based consultancy firm.

Our teams workcross-sector within Consumer Products & Retail, Pharma, Telco & Media, Government, Resources, Utilities and Financial Services. We support a range of projects such as Sustainable Business Strategy development and implementation, Environmental and Social baselining;Net Zero planning and implementation support, Renewable Energy Transition strategy and implementation; Value Chain Transformation design and implementation."

What will you be doing?
Working for a leading consulting firm, some examples of potential projects include:

  • Helping clients reimagine their purpose as a force for good in the world
  • Advising clients on updating their existing business strategies to account for the emerging sustainability agenda
  • Redesigning operating models across industry value chains
  • Supporting clients to implement changes across their operations and value chains
  • Supporting clients through their sustainability change journey and embedding sustainability into the heart of organisational culture
  • Establishing environmental and social impact baselines
  • Identifying opportunities to reduce impact as much as possible (rather than incrementally)

What are we looking for?
We're currently looking for consultants to fill senior roles (you'll likely have at least 7 years' experience).

Your experienceand skills could include:

  • Sustainability experience in either an industry or consultancy role
  • Management Consulting experience
  • Operating model design experience
  • A solid understanding of value chains across energy, mining, agriculture, food & beverage, clothing industries
  • An understanding of the social and environmental topics affecting business on the Sustainability agenda
  • Transformation and Change management experience
  • Design and deployment of Sustainability / ESG strategies and roadmaps
  • Environmental or social sciences degree and/or work experience
  • Stakeholder engagement / management experience
  • Knowledge of energy and resource efficiency and renewables (MACC curve development would be ideal)
  • Strong communication and client engagement skills
  • Experience of complex systemic change programmes
