Morestarts is working with a well-established client based in Mansfield, who are a leading provider of design and manufacture services for the rail industry.

Due to continuous organic growth, we are looking for a _Manufacturing Coordinator_ to join their ever growing team. The placeholder must have served in a similiar role for at least 2 years.

Responsibilities:

Manage and Coordinate the workload of the workshops in order to minimize production problems, bottlenecks or down time.
Ensure that adequate resources of plant, equipment, tooling and people are available in order to fulfill the production plan.
Work with the maintenance team to ensure there is a well maintained preventative maintenance plan available.
Development of workstation risk assessments and method statements.
Maintaining records of near misses and accidents.
Updating RAMS as well as producing new documents as required.

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years' experience and knowledge of working in a supervisory role within a manufacturing/engineering environment.
Ability to understand technical production drawings.
IOSH Managing Safely or similar.
Strong ability to influence others without having direct line accountability for them.
Team worker and contributor.
Flexible, 'can do,' attitude to role and duties.
A good communicator with individuals at all levels.

IT Literate

Microsoft Office Applications.

Salary and Shifts:

£30-34k (doe)

Monday to Thursday 07:1- 16:00 / Fridays 07:15 -15:00

33 days holiday (inc. Bank Holidays)
