Costain are recruiting for a
Process Engineer (clean water)to join our growing Southern Water, CMDP engineering team in the Southeast.


About the Project
CMDP is a joint venture between Costain and MWHT and delivers a range of schemes to maintain and improve Southern Water's Water supply and wastewater treatment works in the eastern half of its region (Kent & Sussex)


Key Responsibilities
Support clean water projects and identify and mitigate WQ risks and constraints
Work with Client Operational Teams to identify and mitigate risks associated with the delivery of Capital works on site
Advise and review process design and process operation techniques
Design temporary solutions to support the process during Capital works activities
Support works process commissioning
Liaise with Design Coordinator to ensure process requirements incorporated at design stage and to assist in technical Governance
Review of design deliverables, including process design, mass balance FDS, equipment and instrument
Provide input into Commissioning Strategy Reviews and Documentation
Assist O&M Coordinators in compilation and review of O&M Manuals


About You
Degree/equivalent qualification in a process engineering related discipline
Previous experience in process engineering ideally in the water industry
Operational experience in the water sector would be beneficial
Good knowledge and ability in using process tools and software (including Excel)
An ability to communicate technical proposals clearly and concisely
Must be delivery driven with a mind-set to work to targets and meet team objectives
