Morgan Hunt is excited to be working with The Africa Centre who are currently on the Hunt for a Digital Engagement Officer, that has a strong passion for African culture and its global diaspora, to join their London based team.

The organisation work a flexible hybrid model, with 1-2 days in their Southwark office.

The key responsibilities of the Digital Engagement Officer:

Plan and execute the organisations digital marketing activities
including digital and social media advertising, brand awareness and lead generation campaigns, online fundraising appeals, as well as marketing our community engagement and fundraising events.
Research, create, write or edit content that is optimised, welldesigned, targeted and timely for publishing via digital channels.
Identify opportunities to share newsworthy stories with stakeholders and various user groups.
Develop and monitor effective benchmarks for measuring the impact of all digital activities, and analyse, review, and report on the effectiveness of campaigns to maximise results.

Skills/experience required:

Experience implementing digital strategies to hit measurable goals, preferably with a focus on digital campaigning or fundraising for social justice causes.
Basic HTML skills, and a strong understanding of SEO and Google Ads.
Video editing and/or production skills, particularly for social media. Basic editing and design skills, including knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
Creative flair and approach to complex challenges.
