Job Description Male Personal Assistant /Support worker

£11.10 per hour

To provide cover in the school holidays

About the Job

The purpose of this role is to provide support to a 12 year old boy who is autistic and requires full assistance, and support with personal care.

He enjoys sensory activities.

He requires assistance and support to integrate within the community, visiting places that they enjoy such as swimming, and go out and about within the community.

He requires stimulation to make the most of suitable opportunities.

When working along side mum you will be required to help facilitate family outings.

You should ensure that due consideration is given to Health & Safety at all times.

Male Personal Assistant/Support Worker_

Hours of Work
During school holidays, hours will be agreed mutually in advance.

Extra hours may be available to cover sickness or annual leave.

Personal Specification

The successful applicant will need to:
Have experience of autism and complex care needs.

Establish a professional standard of care which should be maintained at all times.

Respect & safeguard goods & property.

Respect privacy & uphold confidentiality at all times.

Be punctual, reliable & flexible.

Must have a full clean driving licence and use of a car.

As you will sometimes be required to take the children out in your car, class 1 business use will need to be included in your motor insurance policy.
