RecruitAbility is looking for an experienced
Finance Manager to join their prestigious client, based in
Bishop's Stortford.

If you are
ACA/ACCA qualified, but also have at least
2 years' post qualification in commerce and industry, then this could be the role for you.

The Role of Finance Manager:


  • You will be responsible for the Group's overall finance function
  • You will be involved in strategic planning, financial modelling, risk management and governance
  • You will have responsibility for management accounts, banking and reconciliations
  • Forecasts, budgets, payroll and VAT will also be a key part of your role
  • Report writing and monthly presentations will be part of your job remit

To be considered for the role of Finance Manager:

  • Be ACA/ACCA qualified with working knowledge of statutory rules in relation to tax, dividends and reporting.
  • Have ideally acquired qualifications in practice but subsequently had at least 2 years' experience post qualification in commerce and industry
  • Confident with Xero and associated cloudbased software.
  • Highly skilled with Excel and capable of advanced analytical operation
  • A background in running the books of a company and producing management accounts.
  • Able to run multiple companies, dealing with complex cashflows
  • Comfortable with invoicing and chasing debts.
  • Able to talk to client facing teams, helping them to manage budgets and stay on top of multiple projects.

The Package for Finance Manager:


  • Salary: £50,000 £52,000 per annum
