CNC Machinist
We are hiring CNC Machinist for a successful manufacturing company based in Chalgrove, Oxfordshire.


Package for CNC Machinist:

On Target earnings of up to £53,000 per annum


Hours:

  • Monday to Thursday: 8 am to 4:30 pm
  • Friday: 8:00 am to 12 noon
37 Hours a week (Early Friday Finish)

As part of a brand new facility, you will be involved from the outset, in creating a world class manufacturing cell producing a range of safety critical products.

You would be responsible for undertaking a wide range of manufacturing processes.

Job Responsibilities of a CNC Machinist:
qSet and operate fully automated multi axis CNC machining centres
qUnderstand and edit CNC programmes
qAssemble components in line with stringent quality standards
qInspect their own work, using a range of equipment including magnetic particle crack detection and coordinate measuring machines.
qActively participate in a 5'S programme, to continually improve production output and quality targets

Educational Qualifications required for CNC Machinist
qRecognised engineering apprenticeship / National tech certificate engineering / City & Guilds / E.I.T.B / NVQ / BTEC / EAL
qEnglish and Mathematics GCSE 4-9 (A-C)
qComputer literate
Please note, that our client require 5 yrs employment check and Security Clearance check.
