    Freelance Proofreader Opportunity

    We are seeking skilled linguists for long-term freelance opportunities as Proofreaders specializing in legal and technical translations from English (en-US) into Irish (Ireland).

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Translate text with superior written and verbal communication skills.
    • Maintain exceptional attention to detail, spelling, and grammar.
    • Work under tight deadlines while maintaining professionalism.

    Requirements:

    1. A degree in Translation, Linguistics, or Language Studies, OR an equivalent degree with significant translation training from a recognized institution.
    2. 2 years of translation experience plus a college degree.
    3. 5 years of translation experience (no degree required).
    4. A certificate of competence in translation issued by an appropriate government body.

    Additional Requirements:

    • Agreement to confidentiality terms.
    • Successful completion of required skill evaluation tests.
    • Completion of onboarding modules.
