Description

A key client of ours in the electric vehicle industry is looking for a Development Engineer to join their team making high performance, high quality Li-ION batteries.

The role
Coordination and execution of production trials to scale up new laboratory formulations and optimization of production parameters
Support the validation of new production technologies and product components as well as and their strategic implementation in established and ongoing production operations
Acquisition, analysis and validation of relevant properties of cells and cell components
Commissioning and support of battery test stations and laboratory-specific equipment
Documentation and presentation of results as well as the preparation of reports

Requirements:

Successfully completed engineering degree in the field of mechanical engineering, mechatronics, automotive engineering, electrical engineering or comparable
Good knowledge in the field of measurement techniques and programming
Experience in the field of electrochemistry and characterization of electrochemical storage systems is preferred
Confident in data-management
Focused, goal-oriented and high sense of responsibility High level of commitment, engagement and flexibility
High level of social competencies, communication skills and teamwork
Fluent written and spoken German skills, good English skills
