Description

We are looking for a positive and responsible person with pharmacy experience who is capable of working as part of a team and is flexible regarding working practices and changes in routine, in order to maintain the Pharmacy service to wards and departments in the Trust and to external customers

Good communication skills are important as the role involves dealing with colleagues within the department, other health care professionals and external customers.

The post involves rotational duties which include distribution of medicines, ward top-up of pharmacy items, general storekeeping and assisting dispensary staff.

This post will also provide admin support to both the Pharmacy Stores Office and Pharmacy Stores. There is a significant amount of lifting and handling in this role.

Summary of most important experience / skills / qualifications required:
Level 2 Diploma in Pharmacy Services (NVQ) or equivalent, or significant experience in a pharmacy setting.
