Solution Architect - London - £65,000


I am working with one of the UK's leading public transport operators who are looking for a Solution Architect to join their team.

They are currently going through a large scale digital transformation project including migration to Azure and are looking for an enthusiastic individual who can proactively contribute to the ongoing success of the IT team.

As part of this role, you will be responsible for some of the following areas.

  • Ensure you are contributing to the architecture and IT strategy when it comes to design and governance
  • Design and implement best practice frameworks
  • Support the strategic needs of the business by contributing to business cases
  • Provide architectural and design expertise throughout ongoing projects
  • Work closely with other teams and stakeholders within the organisation such as Engineering and Business teams
This is a salaried role paying up to £65,000 per year depending on experience.

This is a hybrid role where you will be required to work in the organisations office in Central London up to 3 times per week.

To be successful in this role you will have.

  • Strong knowledge of IT Infrastructure and Architectural frameworks
  • Understanding of Azure services and modern platforms (both onpremise and cloud based)
  • Familiarity of TOGAF
  • Good working knowledge of Azure DevOps
