- £11.32ph (£23,
plus Site Bonus

Hours - Full time, 40 per week

8am - 4pm Monday to Friday

It's why we're looking for someone who sees the world in a similar way, to take up an exciting Operative role in our team at our high temperature incinerator and tank farm plant in Ellesmere Port.


What will you be doing?

  • Responsible for bulk, drummed and packaged waste reception, storage and processing to ensure plant operating parameters and budget targets are achieved.
  • Liaising directly with waste & product/supplies delivery drivers and off site disposal collection drivers.
  • Optimise operational efficiency and waste throughput in line with customer requirements and site budget targets
  • Responsible for all stock movements including safe storage of drummed and packaged waste and supporting with movement of stock to assist sampling and process menu preparation
  • Maintain stock control data through the use of scanners for all stock movements and processing.
  • Manage the skip park to ensure safe segregation and loading of plant process residues.
  • Completing daily FLT safety checks

What are we looking for?

  • Experience of dealing with hazardous waste
  • Knowledge of handling and storage of hazardous chemicals
  • Chemical knowledge and awareness
Desired

  • Formal chemical training and/or qualification
  • Forklift truck driving experience.
  • COMAH awareness
