What you'll be doing

As the Staff Writer, Computing you will be in charge of supporting our readers' needs with software reviews, news and how-tos, while working alongside the TechRadar's Computing Editors, as well as the Managing Editor of Core Tech to develop exciting content that attracts a worldwide audience.

You will maintain TR as an authority in software and apps, such as Windows 11, macOs, Adobe Photoshop and WhatsApp.

As well as news you will be responsible for writing in-depth features and comprehensive buying guides, and recommendations of great deals on products.

The Staff Writer will demonstrate excellent insight into the key software solutions the audience will be interested in.

You'll hold regular 1:1s with the line manager to discuss progress, as well as the direction and content of the channel.

Experience that will put you ahead of the curve

Strong writing skills and content development
A good understanding of SEO
An interest within technology, specifically software and apps.
A desire to grow TechRadars' traffic
Great time and organisational skills.
