Special Education Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistants

Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of children with diverse learning needs? Empowering Learning is currently recruiting on behalf of a Special Education Needs provision in Burton on Trent for dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistants.

Position:
SEN Teaching Assistant

Location:
Burton on Trent

Duration: 12-week Temporary to Permanent Position

Responsibilities:

Support children with autism, speech and language disorders, moderate to severe learning difficulties, and associated behavioural challenges.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Collaborate with the teaching team to implement individualized education plans.

Requirements:

Previous experience working with children with special educational needs.
Enhanced Child and Adult DBS clearance.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to supporting children's development.
