JOB SUMMARY

Purpose
The manufacturing of a wide variety of aircraft interiors products within a low batch high mix manufacturing environment.

The role will be working within a small dynamic team responsible for the assembly of spares components to meet required quality standards and satisfy customer demand in a busy Aerospace manufacturing facility.

Primary Responsibilities

Produce work documentation to support production schedules.
Carrying out of secondary operations to support production schedules.
Part identification to maintain the traceability of all components and assembled parts.
Use of hand tools and some mechanical equipment used in the assembly of basic components.
Packaging of finished goods in line with industry standards for road, sea and air cargo.
Understands and fully complies with all company health and safety policies.
Always demonstrates a good duty of care and maintaining a safe working environment.
Shows a commitment to quality.
Help maintain satisfactory business delivery and quality targets.
Supports continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and drive efficiency.
Willing to cross train in other relevant skills to support business needs when required.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

A strong work ethic
Ability and willingness to learn new skills quickly.
Ability to take on and follow instructions accurately and feedback information.
Good communication skills.
Good understanding of Microsoft software
Must demonstrate a good understanding of safe working.
