JOB SUMMARY

Purpose
The manufacturing of a wide variety of aircraft interiors products within a low batch high mix manufacturing environment.

The role will be working within a small dynamic team responsible for the assembly of spares components to meet required quality standards and satisfy customer demand in a busy Aerospace manufacturing facility.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Produce work documentation to support production schedules.
  • Carrying out of secondary operations to support production schedules.
  • Part identification to maintain the traceability of all components and assembled parts.
  • Use of hand tools and some mechanical equipment used in the assembly of basic components.
  • Packaging of finished goods in line with industry standards for road, sea and air cargo.
  • Understands and fully complies with all company health and safety policies.
  • Always demonstrates a good duty of care and maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Shows a commitment to quality.
  • Help maintain satisfactory business delivery and quality targets.
  • Supports continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and drive efficiency.
  • Willing to cross train in other relevant skills to support business needs when required.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • A strong work ethic
  • Ability and willingness to learn new skills quickly.
  • Ability to take on and follow instructions accurately and feedback information.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Good understanding of Microsoft software
  • Must demonstrate a good understanding of safe working.
