Teaching Personnel are pleased to present this Year 6 Teaching role.


An Oldham-based primary school are working in partnership with Teaching Personnel in their search for a full-time Teacher to lead their Year 6 class.

The senior leadership of this school are seeking a qualified, eager Primary Teacher who can manage a classpreparing for their SATs exams and the transition into secondary school.

The role is a full-time opportunity with a work pattern of 32.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday. This teacher can look forward to a February start upon registration with Teaching Personnel.


Overview:

  • Pay starting from £100£130 per day through PAYE, with Main Pay Scale Earnings from the 12th week (No umbrella company or agency fees),
  • Primary school located in the Oldham area (OL8), easily accessible via bus and tram from the town centre
  • Fulltime role Monday-Friday 8:30am3:30pm paid on a timesheet basis through Teaching Personnel
  • Pleasant, vibrant school environment
  • Opportunity to move onto a schoolbased contract following a successful trial period


This three-form entry school are searching for a Year 6 teacher who can engage with a class with a wide breadth of demands.

The school has a vast amount of EAL students, so their teacher must encourage participation and push attainment in the English curriculum.

With a higher-than-average pupil premium, this role provides the opportunity to make a difference in Oldham's community.


Teachers will be expected to have a strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum with experience of teaching Year 6 being an ideal criterion.

Experience of KS2 SATs would be beneficial as you would be expected to prepare the students for statutory assessmentslater in the year.

As a multi form school, you will need to share planning and work effectively as a Year 6 team.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
