Learning Support Assistant (Weston House):

Part Time (Various hours available up to 32.

5 hours):

Term Time Only for 38 weeks and Fixed Term until 31st August 2024:

Salary scale 1:
£21,029 per annum (pro rata) / £10.

90 per hour:

Please note, actual salary will be based on number of hours and weeks worked for the remainder of the academic year._

The purpose of this role is to play an active role in supporting Learners at Weston House, a specialist FE provision for young adult learners with disabilities.

You will support students with additional learning needs, in the classroom and in other learning environments, assisting with their physical and emotional well-being and learning support requirements.

This may include providing practical support, personal care, note-taking, reading, prompting/scribing and/or notetaking support.

With a relevant Level 2 qualification, you will have experience working with people with additional learning needs/physical disabilities who may require support and assistance to achieve their full potential.

You will have good IT, communication and note-taking skills and be prepared to work flexibly.
