As part of the new Global Performance Media Team this Global Paid Search Lead will play an important role in defining an integrated approach to Search for JLR.

As the business lead for Search you will be expected to translate business objectives into tangible deliverables, measuring the impact to the commercial business.

You will be responsible for creating the vision for Search at JLR, as the business goes through transformation over the next 2 years.

The role will be responsible for growing leads and revenue from Search campaigns globally.

You will play an important role in Performance Marketing Stand Ups, identifying strategic opportunities to improve performance across paid and organic Search.

From the get-go you will be focused on implementing the global fundamentals across both paid and organic to ensure we build strong foundations to allow us to deliver the ambitious targets of the future.

You will play an important role of educating wider commercial teams on the impact and scale Search has on business performance.


WHAT TO EXPECT

  • Responsible for the Global Search Strategy (SEO & SEM)
  • Grow direct revenue from Search traffic
  • Define and deliver a maturity framework for all search activity globally
  • Build out a team of Search specialists and scale search knowledge within the business
  • Provide insights into search demand and competitor strategies
  • Lead content strategy for all nameplates
  • Partner with Website teams to implement technical SEO
  • Audit Search (Paid and organic) and provide optimisations to markets
  • Drive best practice search account hygiene and account structures
  • Provide Search insights to inform brand planning and content creation.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • Global Search Strategy Experience
  • Agency or Client Side
  • Search expertise across both SEO and Paid
  • Global platform knowledge Google, Bing, Yahoo, Naver, Yandex, Baidu (APAC platforms desirable, not mandatory)
  • Advanced Search Data & Analytics Skills
  • Technical SEO knowledge
  • Relationship and partner management
