Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Linen Delivery Driver to join our team.

As a Linen Delivery Driver, you will not only be responsible for safely transporting fresh linen to our holiday let apartments, but also for delivering supplies and collecting dirty linen.

Your role is more than delivery, you are also working with our team to ensure our guests have a fabulous holiday.

This is a great opportunity for someone with commercial driving experience who has experience in Edinburgh and understands the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities:

Safely operate a delivery van to transport goods to designated locations
Load and unload products from the vehicle
Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries
Communicate with team members to reach them quickly.
Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving
Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
Assist with warehouse linen duties as needed

Experience:

Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role in Edinburgh (knowledge of streets and routes is beneficial)
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for insurance reasons you must be over 2
Commercial driving experience preferred
Ability to drive and operate a delivery van safely and efficiently
Excellent communication skills to interact with customers in a professional manner
Strong organizational skills to plan routes effectively and manage time efficiently
Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required

You will work in a team of 4 drivers, you will work on a rota system, working 5 days a week, some of these shifts will be at weekends.

Our busiest days are Friday, Sunday and Monday, and we tend to have 3 drivers working on these days in the summer.

Our drivers may also help us with some small maintenance tasks or external cleaning such as clearing up patios / basement areas outside flats.

Landlords' Little Helper provides cleaning and maintenance services to a number of companies and landlords across Edinburgh and the Lothians.

We look after a large portfolio of clients.

Our linen delivery drivers are not just delivering linen, guest consumables, and cleaning products, they are also assiting the housekeepers with any small maintenance issues, ensuring properties are left secure and reporting any damage or problems a guest may encounter.

This role is instrumental in our team and we need someone who understands the importance of delivering quickly and efficiently but also ensuring the job is done properly and carefully.

£11.50-£13.00 per hour
