Sally our Headteacher are looking for awesome people to join her growing team.

Right now are looking for Teaching Assistants to make a difference to children with social communication and interaction difficulties, associated Speech, Language and Communication Difficulties (a neurodiverse profile) and high levels of anxiety and / or associated challenging and distressed behaviour
and this is why they deserve you.

Our Teaching Assistants work alongside our Class Teachers.

This is why you're awesome:

  • Your friends say you are the _kindest_ person they know
  • Stressful situations are a part of life, but you're the one that stays _calm_

- _Resilient _
  • As Chumbawamba once said "I get knocked down, but I get up again"

- _Empathic _
  • It's because you understand how others feel and why they behave in certain ways.
  • We don't expect you to know everything, but you're _enthusiastic to learn_ so that you can be the best you.

- _Self-awareness_
  • Knowing how you are feeling and how this can impact others is so important for you to meet the needs of our students and having this awareness is what makes you special.
  • And while all of the above is about you, the most important thing is that you understand it's really all about the pupils.

You will have the opportunity to develop your career in a School and Delta Education Trust, a small but growing Trust.

Our ethos is encompassed in our vision
"Learning together in pursuit of happiness".
We put this into practice by ensuring:

  • All decisions are made in the best interests of staff, students and families.
  • High support, high challenge and evidence informed in everything we do.
  • We work collaboratively and make team, not individual, decisions.
  • We acknowledge our mistakes and use them to learn and improve.
  • We are always open to learning and seeking new ideas.

If successfully shortlisted the HR Department will also be conducting an individual online search including social media platforms of your 'name, education and employment', to demonstrate due diligence following the updated 'Keeping Children Safe in Education 2022' guidance.

The search will not form part of the actual shortlisting process and any concerns arising from the search will be discussed directly with you.
