About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at fpr-group in the hygiene industry. As a key member of our Design and Development team, you will be responsible for producing innovative and high-quality designs for new product development and in-market modifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing concepts that meet customer needs and manufacturing requirements
• Estimating project timescales and ensuring designs are suitable for manufacturing
• Assisting with internal and external audits, product testing, and generating technical documentation

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in product design
• Strong background in design for manufacturing and injection moulding
• Proficiency in SolidWorks
• Experience in a manufacturing environment and knowledge of Photoshop beneficial
• Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills
