International Buying Manager

Dusseldorf

Salary £70,000

This International retailer is looking for several Buying Managers to look after the following categories Toys / Consumer Electricals & Furniture.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to propel their Buying career and experience working collaboratively with Buyers from around the world.

As a Buying Manager within the Toys / Consumer Electricals & Furniture categories, you'll be helping to secureexciting products at the best price.

You will be responsible for driving the Buying strategy to ensure the growth in both sales & profitability while maintaining a strategic business focus to ensure continued development in the buying department.

As a Global Sourcing Buying Manager some of your duties will include:

Build & maintain long lasting relationships with suppliers
Negotiate with some of the biggest brands & suppliers around the world
Working coherently with the national Buyers
Negotiate the best possible contracts & terms
Analyse sales figures to plan successful future lines with the buying team
Constant competitor and price analysis
Working cross functionally to ensure quality levels within products
Line management responsibilities

Key requirements for the role:

Proven previous experience as a Senior Buyer / Buying Manager within a fastmoving retail environment
Experience in Buying Toys / Consumer Electricals or Furniture products is advantageous
Educated to degree level
Previous line management experience
Manage workload with good levels of attention to detail
Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise / influence effectively at all levels
