Hours
9:30-5:45 with one hour for lunch each day. Additional hours may be required to fulfil the role.

Role Overview


The Registrar is responsible for updating and maintaining students' academic records, supporting the team in the student admissions process, and responsible for main statistical reporting

Key Tasks

Registrar v1 Court Theatre Training Company

Admissions

  • Liaise with our partner university (BNU) regarding admissions, enrolment, and student progression.
  • Ensure all enquiries and audition registration is completed, up to date and accurate in
Audition Management System (AMS).

  • Monitor the responses of applicants to decisions and provide data on applicant status and workflow.
Attendance

  • Create Student files for new starters and archive files for leavers in the Student Management
System (SMS).

  • Ensure that year lists are accurate and up to date at the beginning of each academic year and throughout the year as change occurs.
  • Aid in maintaining and updating of Database Management System.
  • Support and inform current students and staff on all matters surrounding and related to student fees and finance matters and general support for adhoc enquiries.
  • To provide pastoral and academic support to the student body and ensure the welfare process is established for the students, signposting students to the appropriate support mechanism e.g., Mental Health, First Aid or Student Support services.
  • Responsible for the preparation of studentbased statutory returns, reporting and related exercises including NSS, Graduate Outcomes.
  • Assist with collation of information required for HESA and Unistats returns (compliance statistics).
  • Support Director of Studies with the grading and assessment process.
  • Working alongside the Director of Development to ensure correct procedures are followed when dealing with international students.
General Admin

  • Provide support to the Senior Management team for compliance purposes.
  • Assist the Head of Operations Basic HR responsibility including sickness and absence record management and maintaining employee records.
  • Assist Deputy Director of Studies to liaise with tutors and external freelancers regarding their terms of employment, contracts, schedules, and payroll. Assist with any enquiries that arise.
  • Assist the Head of Operations in daytoday financial management including checking payroll, invoices and managing accounts payable.
  • Assisting the Senior Management Team in the fulfilment of their roles and duties.
  • To undertake the above duties with a sound knowledge of and adherence to college, partner and venue sector policy, procedure, and best practice

About You
We are looking for someone flexible in their outlook. We are a small team, and we all need to roll our sleeves up to get the job done. You should be well organised, a strong written and verbal communicator and confident in face-to-face interactions with our students. You will also be a confident user of IT, ideally with strong Excel knowledge. However, we will support any training needs. If you have had previous experience of diary or event manage
