This is an excellent opportunity to join a market leading company as a National Sales Manager, working for a leading global player in developing, manufacturing, and distributing single use medical devices for endoscopy in gastroenterology and urology.
The role holder will have responsibility for sales performance and achievement of targets for the GI & Urology business within the Medical Devices UK organisation.
This role will be suitable for someone currently in a Sales Management role or looking for career progression into their first management role.
Key Responsibilities:
Initial responsibility will be to focus on establishing the GI business working in close collaboration with the Commercial Director, Medical Devices UK and the International Sales Director.
Progression to recruiting and leading a GI & Uro sales team, with support from the wider management team and HR (6-12 months).
In collaboration with the Commercial Director, Medical Devices UK, and the International Sales Director, develop and implement annual business plan including setting stretching financial and market share targets.
Take ownership and accountability for implementing actions and initiatives that will drive high performance and conversion of new customers and accounts to using the portfolio of products.
Lead, develop and enhance relationships with KOLs across the NHS, and private hospital groups.
Work with the marketing team to develop and implement marketing plan, including but not limited to KOL education, product training, marketing, and digital marketing.
One-to-one management of the team to ensure delivery of sales targets and personal objectives.
Provision of accurate sales reporting and analysis.
Respond effectively to market information that may impact on business.
Attending national & international conferences/trade fairs etc. as required.
First line local product support, trainings, and live cases in clinics.
Brand positioning inside and outside the market
Support customers and our internal QM Team within complaint handling
Portfolio analyses and strategy control & steering of products / range.
The Client markets and sells a broad range of own and third-party medical device and pharmaceutical products in areas such as wound care, urology, procedure packs, critical care (anaesthesia, endovascular, cardiology, and IV access), diagnostics, maxilla-facial implants, cardio-thoracic and neurology.
