Early years Teaching Assistant-Newtown, BirminghamAre you a Teaching Assistant looking for a full-time role supporting pupils in a nursery class?
I am currently recruiting for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support a whole nursery class in a school in Newtown, Birmingham.
This is a long-term role to start on 27/02/2023 which is ongoing meaning it could go permanent for the right personThis role is a split between working as a general TA to support the whole class as well as working on a 1:1 basis with children with additional needs or areas of lower level learning.
You must be comfortable working with diagnosed and suspected SEND and willbe working in a team of TAs and Teachers to ensure the pupils get the best from their education.
Aspire people have worked with this school for a while and feedback is always positive from staff.As an agency employed TA, the schools will expect you to maintain the standards of a permanent member of staff, so the following is expected:
*Strong EYFS curriculum knowledge.
*Minimum Level 3 Childcare (or equivalent) qualification for ratio purposes.
*Regular assessments of pupils.
*Able to engage in learning activities.
*Confident with personal care
This is an excellent opportunity to work in lovely Nursery school. Steph will be available 24/7 for you should you need support with anything.
