Accounts Assistant - 12 month Fixed Term Contract

Role Overview:
Project accounting and cash management withing a small UK multi-site finance team.

Responsibilities:

Cash Management
Daily bank reconciliations for multicurrency accounts and balance reporting to Group Finance.

Project accounting

Checking and converting project quotes to orders, creating project numbers, and setting up milestone payment stages.

Service Contract accounting

Conversion of service quotes to order and setting invoice terms.

Invoicing

Daily invoice run and reconciliation to shipping documents.
Arranging weekly meetings with Engineering and Service departments to discuss status of jobs and invoicing.

Customer account maintenance

Amending customer records and creating customer accounts, converting prospects to customer accounts.

Profile:

Microsoft Excel skills.
Part/full qualified AAT or equivalent
Experience of Sage X3 or similar, preferrable.
Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
Experience working within a corporate group structure useful.

Location:

The role is based at the office in Tranmere, Wirral but at times may require travel to other locations.
