The position - Operations Co-ordinator:


We're now looking for a highly organised and proactive individual with outstanding time and workload management to join our small team in St Ives.

This role requires excellent written and communication skills, and the ability to manage a varied and interesting workload ranging from reactive remedial work to proactive thinking and planning.

Previous experience within an office environment would be ideal and customer service experience is essential.


Main duties and responsibilities:


  • Managing ongoing maintenance for all properties in the Orange Roofs portfolio which means planning, arranging and ensuring all maintenance jobs are done in a timely manner
  • Ensure all maintenance administration is kept up to date and current
  • Property checks in readiness for guest arrivals ensuring everything functions as it should
  • Plan and report to owners' empty property checks
  • Annual property inspections, report writing and arranging maintenance as a result
  • Working with guests, owners, and tradespeople to overcome any issues whilst a guest is staying
  • Assisting the Operations Manager with tasks to ensure the guest has the best possible experience from first enquiry to when at the property
  • Daytoday administration including returning of left items, ordering and delivering replacement items to properties, key safe code changes, compliance checks and booking in gas safety certificates, boiler services, PAT testing, chimney sweeps, reporting etc
  • Planning and project management to ensure all areas of the guest experience and Operations team runs smoothly
  • Occasional support in answering guest enquiries, taking bookings and offering helpful local information to guests

Skills and experience:


  • Exceptional organisational skills as well as the ability to multitask and adhere to deadlines
  • Clear ability to be proactive and take initiative
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to deliver a high level of customer care and problemsolve effectively
  • High attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong work ethic, integrity and ambition to succeed
  • Ability to adapt to a fastpaced working environment with a cando attitude
  • Full driving license and car owner
  • Previous hospitality/tourism experience
