Support Workers required for a young adult with a diagnosis of Autism and Learning Difficulties
The rate of pay:
£14.97/hour.
Hours
Shift Pattern A - Thursday, Friday and Saturday 10:30-16:30 (18 hours)
Shift Pattern B - Thursday and Saturday 15:00-21:00 (12 hours)
Additional Shift Cover often available at various times during the week.

About
The young adult is ambulant but requires supervision. He lacks social interaction and communication skills, but he can communicate basic needs and wants verbally.
His interests include:
Going for drives, walks, play parks, swimming, playing in his Hot Tub, using his shower room, playing with a ball, watching his tablet computer.
He is generally good-humoured and very friendly. However, he can suffer times of extreme agitation when he can self-injure. This can be very challenging to deal with.Role

Requirements:
- Genuine interest in supporting Young Person's with Additional Needs
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Reliable and trustworthy
- Flexible
- Able to cope with challenging situations and behaviour
- PVG Scheme Member or willing to join
- Car Driver with full clean license to drive a Motability car
