Thomas Johnstone is a specialist fit-out contractor working with premium brands across the leisure, retail, commercial and public sectors throughout the UK.

Our in-house capability includes Manufacturing, Building, M&E Co-ordination, Small works and Decorating.

We provide our customers with a single source for all their project requirements, and the confidence that we will deliver a level of service few of our competitors can match.


Due to continued growth and a strong workload throughout the company, our Manufacturing Division are looking to fill a number of vacancies.

We are looking for experienced bench hand joiners to join our Joiner Shop.

Based in our busy Inchinnan manufacturing facility, the right person will:


  • Be an experienced bench hand joiner, comfortable working with a variety of timbers
  • Have the ability to work to technical drawings and have good problem solving abilities
  • Show willingness to share your experience and knowledge as a mentor to our team of apprentices
  • Be selfmotivated and able to work to strict deadlines
  • Have a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
  • Be willing to visit sites to install items, as necessary

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • RENFREW: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:


  • Joinery: 1 year (preferred)
Bench Hand Joinery: 5 years (preferred)
