£26,000 FTE (depending on level of experience, training and qualification)

We have an opportunity for a Pastoral Support Officer to join the team on a fixed term basis for 12 months.

This is a Part Time role for 18.75 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.

Duties of this role include:


  • The Pastoral Support Officer will be responsible for providing emotional, practical and pastoral support to international nurses coming to the UK.
  • Arranging accommodation for international staff arriving in the UK.
  • Supporting with setting up bank accounts, registering at GP and arranging transfers and ad hoc travel.
  • The role will involve assisting nurses in adapting to their new environment, managing cultural differences, and addressing any personal issues they may face
