DSV are recruiting for an Freight Forwarder, Healthcare in Purfleet. The post holder will be accountable for the implementation, support and monitoring of the Global Healthcare Quality Management System (HealthcareQMS), within the sphere of responsibility.

:

Key Tasks

:

Implementation and support of the HealthcareQMS and Operational Work Instructions
Deliver HealthcareQMS minimum standards for every Customer order
Deliver Validaide training where applicable
Ensure HealthcareQMS compliance of team / Branch is maintained
Manage business partners within own sphere of influence
Escalate to Product Owner any operational weaknesses or necessary enhancements
Analyse and collect competition and market data as well as Customer and DSV Internal feedback to put forth HealthcareQMS continuous improvement proposals
Support the Healthcare Management team through the communication of current issues and continuous improvement opportunities identified at Branch level
Support sales initiatives / sales staff / in gaining or retaining Healthcare Customers
Monitoring and ensuring the necessary training of employees (operations, sales, HR, and IT) as well as customers
Report to Group Compliance defined measures
Ensure that all Branch information within Validaide is comprehensive and accurate
Fulfil the Validaide Responsible role for the assigned business partners within Validaide
Configure and/or approve the lane within Validaide

Duties / Responsibilities

Ensure all shipments within control are compliant with the current Healthcare Policy and the HealthcareQMS, as well as the Divisional Healthcare Operational Work Instructions
Ensure prompt issue resolution and optimal consulting and support in respect of storage, handling, and transportation
Manage all locally controlled healthcare business partners and coordinate necessary training or qualification needs
Ensure the lane characterisation is completed within Validaide

Skills and Competencies

Previous road freight experience import / export to UK and European X Trade
Experience in customs and Brexit formalities
Good customer service ethic
Commercial acumen rates / quotes / billing
Shipping Incoterms
Good organizational skills
Be able to prioritise and manage workload
