Description
We are looking for an Apprentice Executive Support Assistant to join our supportive and talented team.

We are a diverse multi-academy trust, looking for professional and ambitious people, with a passion for transforming our students' learning.


Working Week
Monday to Friday

Total hours per week 37.5

Daily hours to be confirmed


Wage
£5.21 per hour


Responsibilities
Relationships

  • Demonstrates advanced interpersonal skills in appropriate handling of highly sensitive and often complex
information, which is a frequent requirement of the role.

  • Confidence and professionalism to manage discussions with individuals at all levels. May respond to questions on
behalf of senior colleagues in some situations.

  • Establish and maintain productive working relationships with academy staff supporting them with
administrative and relevant organisational requirements.

  • Work closely with academy staff associated with any specialist area the post holder may be affiliated with. Ensure
administrative tasks are completed as instructed, to deadline and to a high standard.

  • Communicate effectively and professionally with parents, students, the general public and external bodies in person,
writing, electronically and by telephone.

People Management

  • Line manage, supervise and/or coach colleagues, allocating work as required to ensure an effective service.
  • Provide advice, guidance and training in the use of systems such as the Web Req, Tucasi or SIMs as required.
  • Deputise in the absence of the Senior Operations Manager (where an academy has a Senior Operations Manager as
opposed to an Operations Manager).

  • May be required to deputise in the absence of other administration colleagues such as Exam Officers and/or provide
additional administration support during public exams

Resource Management

  • Prepare and circulate high quality documentation such as agendas, papers, minutes and briefing notes as required
for senior level audiences.

  • Compiling presentations, dictation and minute taking of sensitive and highly confidential meetings.
  • Undertake full diary management responsibilities of senior colleagues, make and reschedule appointments in line
with agreed procedure.

  • Deal with incoming and outgoing written and electronic correspondence for senior level colleagues.
  • Develop and maintain effective record keeping and electronic and manual filing systems.
  • Make travel and accommodation arrangements as required and ensuring best value for money.
  • Update relevant webbased content and social media for the academy such as Twitter as required. Assist with
marketing and promoting the academy

Maths and English at GCSE grade A-C (4-9)
