Main function of the job:

To provide a comprehensive support and housing management service to Tenants within a designated patch.

Enabling tenants to live confidently and independently in their own homes and enabling Support Workers to work to their full potential.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensure service standards are achieved and meet the individual requirements of the tenant.#
Ensure that effective, sensitive support and housing management practices are maintained by implementing Rent Assure procedures.
Manage Rent Assure's tenants within designated patch, to set targets in line with team plan, and identify training needs ensuring services are delivered efficiently.
Process void units and liaise with other departments within the organisation to ensure that units are prepared for relet.
Ensure all information systems are updated and accurate reflecting clearly any information or agreed action.
Support and deputise for other Housing Officers / Team Leader as required.
Support Housing Manager/ Team Leader to manage buildings including Health and Safety and Incident reporting.
Work with Housing Associations and Housing Manger to oversee the planned and cyclical maintenance programmes for tenants Housing, ensuring the programme is delivered as specified for Rent Assure tenants.
Liaise with health and social care providers, voluntary agencies and others assisting tenants to maintain their accommodation.
Provide accurate information to customers on Rent Assure s policies and procedures.
