Main function of the job:

To provide a comprehensive support and housing management service to Tenants within a designated patch.

Enabling tenants to live confidently and independently in their own homes and enabling Support Workers to work to their full potential.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Ensure service standards are achieved and meet the individual requirements of the tenant.#
  • Ensure that effective, sensitive support and housing management practices are maintained by implementing Rent Assure procedures.
  • Manage Rent Assure's tenants within designated patch, to set targets in line with team plan, and identify training needs ensuring services are delivered efficiently.
  • Process void units and liaise with other departments within the organisation to ensure that units are prepared for relet.
  • Ensure all information systems are updated and accurate reflecting clearly any information or agreed action.
  • Support and deputise for other Housing Officers / Team Leader as required.
  • Support Housing Manager/ Team Leader to manage buildings including Health and Safety and Incident reporting.
  • Work with Housing Associations and Housing Manger to oversee the planned and cyclical maintenance programmes for tenants Housing, ensuring the programme is delivered as specified for Rent Assure tenants.
  • Liaise with health and social care providers, voluntary agencies and others assisting tenants to maintain their accommodation.
  • Provide accurate information to customers on Rent Assure s policies and procedures.
