My client who is a large law enforcement agency in London have 4 fantastic openings for Digital Media communication Managers. These are looking to pay between £ £47089 plus excellent benefits. These roles will be working as part of the lawenforcements social media team. They are based in London, with some Hybrid working.

You will be a social media champion across the directorate, managing our presence across all channels and supporting the Social Media Desk so that output supports the communications and policing objectives.

You will plan and manage activity and ensure that editorial content is current and accurate whether it's video, graphics or imagery.


Responsibilities:


  • Forward plan and manage daytoday social media activity
  • Manage editorial content ensuring our corporate channels are providing information that is current and accurate.
  • Manage and deliver the creation of highquality digital content including video, graphics, and imagery for use across the Met's digital platforms.
  • Maintain and manage the social media presence across all social media channels.
  • Act as a social media champion provide expert advice on best practice regarding social media strategy, online engagement and content creation.
  • Deliver accurate and professional written work and drive forward the effective use of professional design software e.g. Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Ensure media and communications output is coordinated and all available social media channels and opportunities are maximised.
  • Ensure appropriate social media communication activity is prepared for operations, investigations, and corporate issues; advise communications colleagues on how best to integrate social media into overarching communications plans including the creationof bespoke, high quality digital content.

Skills and Experience:


  • High level of competence and demonstrable experience in filming, social video production and editing.
  • High level of competence and demonstrable experience using design software e.g. Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects and Premiere Pro.
  • Experience of using a variety of communications channels and ability to provide advice on most appropriate social media channels dependant on context.
  • Substantial experience of evaluating communications/social media activity against targets and objectives and using insight to inform future strategies.
  • Experience of using social media analytics and listening tools.
  • Experience of using Google Analytics or similar web analytics tools.
  • A good understanding of SEO principles and writing effectively for web.
  • Knowledge and experience of using OASIS Campaign guide.
  • Knowledge and experience of project management methodology.
