We are recruiting an experienced Shipping Co-ordinator to join a successful company based in the Leicester area.

Working in a small team, the main purpose of the role will be to monitoring import arrivals, communicating with customers warehouses and keeping databases updated.

Duties and responsibilities:

Coordinate with internal teams, factories, and external logistics to fulfil on time deliveries
Review all import shipping documentation
Liaise with freight forwarding agents
Ensure all paperwork is accurately processed
Previous experience of import freight shipping and knowledge of customs procedures
Knowledge of liaising with airlines and shipping lines
Good organisation skills
A problemsolving, proactive approach
