Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Clinical Psychologist to work within the Paediatric Clinical Psychology service in the Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

The post is based within the Paediatric Health Psychology Service, which is highly committed to providing child and family centred care.

We are looking to recruit a Clinical Psychologist with an interest in working with children young people and families within health setting, and has additional knowledge of national good practice of working as a Clinical Psychologist in a paediatric health psychology.

The post-holder will be based within the Paediatric Psychology Service at the Royal Victoria Infirmary. The post holder will provide clinical psychology input for children and their families affected by cancer. This will involve seeing both outpatients and inpatients. There will be close working relationships with other Clinical Psychologists in Paediatric Psychology.

The service will include specialist psychological assessment and intervention, as well as advice and consultation to colleagues within the wider multi-disciplinary team.

There will also be opportunities for delivering teaching and training. Good communication with other members of the multidisciplinary team is essential.
Interview Date: 28th March 202- 11 Hours 15 Minutes per a week
