Description
We are looking for aNetwork Administrator to monitor and administer the Club's local area (LAN) and wireless networks.
This important role will be responsible for upgrades, installations, and decommissions of hardware. It will also manage and review the Club's security devices.

Your day-to-day
- Assisting with the implementation of network changes required to support existing operations and future growth.
- Supporting with the implementation of security measures for all club systems at the network level.
- Monitoring the firewalls and remote access logs for security issues.
- Managing and upgrading the LAN and Wi-Fi infrastructure.
- Monitoring the LAN, WAN, and Wi-Fi estate, including performance and availability monitoring of cloudbased services.
- Performing operations, maintenance, and issue resolution to mitigate risks.
- Writing and maintaining network documentation.
- Conducting performance testing, network testing, and disaster recovery testing on new and existing systems, this includes both LAN and WAN circuits.
- Providing secondline support for issues and requests.
- Configuring and setting up new devices.
- Effectively communicating complex technical information to both business and IT stakeholders.
What we are looking for
- A relevant degree (or equivalent), preferably in Computer Science.
- Cisco certification.
- Microsoft certification (Desirable).
- Experience in network support and operation.
- Familiarity with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
- Understanding of network design using Cisco technologies.
- Experience in LAN/Wi-Fi management and testing.
- Understanding of core WAN technologies.
- Experience in the installation of new devices.
- Ability to configure and maintain monitoring platforms.
- Able to build dashboards and reports to show quality metrics aligned to business service level.
- Strong focus on quality and delivering optimal service.
- Ability to offer innovative and pragmatic solutions.
