Do you enjoy working within a busy office environment, where no two days are the same? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 2 Administration Assistant to support the team at the Neuro Rehabilitation Centre at Goole and District Hospital.


  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills
  • Good IT and keyboard skills
  • A good working knowledge of all Microsoft programmes
  • The ability to work under their own initiative
  • A willingness to learn and develop


The post holder will assist the Business Lead in delivering an effective and efficient administration service, to assist in the provision of quality patient care.

This will include general clerical and administrative duties that facilitate the administrative elements of the entire patient pathway covering:


  • Registering referrals
  • Appointing patients and supporting the appointments process
  • Retrieval of medical notes and results
  • Input data into patient/client records
  • Facilitate and support meetings, preparing all relevant paperwork.
  • The production of accurate and wellpresented correspondence, minutes and other materials as appropriate.


The post holder will have skills in all areas of administrative functions to enable them to support the patient pathway, using Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) to ensure that functions of the role are carried out correctly within given timescales.
