An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Support Officer to join the Trust's Head Office Administration Team to provide a comprehensive, effective and professional secretarial service to the Business Manager within the Chief Executive office.

This role specifically will be providing support to the Business Manager and the Chief Executive office.


You will work with the Business Manager manage to assist with the day to day running of the Chief Executives office liaising with other members of the Trust Board and Executive Assistant Team in a confidential and effective manner.

You will have strong prioritisation and excellent organisational skills together with the ability to remain calm and collected in a busy and dynamic environment.

Flexibility and working at pace to strict deadlines are key.

You will have proven significant experience working at a Senior level, demonstrating advanced secretarial skills, both written and verbal. You will have project management skills and be able to liaise confidently with internal and external stakeholders.


The role requires the ability to manage many competing priorities, to work logically, and to work on your own initiative and as a team player.

This is a full time post working 37.5 hours per week.

To provide a high level of administrative support to the Business Manager and the Chief Executive office and where required, members of the Board Executive Team.


To assist with the coordination of the day-to-day management of the Director's office/s in a professional, efficient, and confidential manner.


To act as first point of contact for all communications and ensure all enquiries are acted on or directed appropriately.

To provide cover for the Business Manager in terms of absence


To work in partnership with the Chief Executives office to provide a comprehensive range of secretarial and administrative services, to a consistently high standard, ensuring professionalism, quality, and integrity.
