Credit Controller - PAYE - Milton Keynes

  • Communicating outstanding and overdue amounts to customers.
  • Assessing customer accounts and releasing or holding orders when necessary.
  • Dealing with customer queries. Ensuring regular invoices upload on various vendor platform
  • Dispute finance queries (remittances, chargeback reports, trade terms invoices, etc)
  • Assessing the credit worthiness of new and existing accounts.
  • Assessing payment problems implied or indicated by customers and decide the appropriate course of action.
  • Preparing legal notices and County Court summonses for nonpaying customers. Maintaining legal file. Daily banking as required. Allocation of money received into all bank accounts via online bank statements. Obtaining missing remittances to enable correctallocations
  • Dealing with queries directed from all teams regarding cash uploaded or allocated. Filing/record keeping. Responsibility of all aspects of credit control and their relating queries or issues or procedures for Account Managers under your control. Ad hocduties.

Essential:


  • Retail and E-Commerce experience helpful
  • Credit control/ finance control admin
  • Be able to use a platform to upload invoices
  • Knowledge of shortage claims, remittances, trade terms invoices and chargebacks
  • Experience in Credit Control, deductions and cash allocation
  • Knowledge or ORACLE EBS and Oracle Cloud/Fusion helpful
  • Strong Excel skills required (V-Look ups, pivot table)
  • Proactive and a team player
  • Retail/Beverage, cosmetics or Consumer Goods/FMCG sector experience helpful.
