Description

We are looking for a Software Engineer for our client based in West Sussex.
The role will involve both Linux Software and Full Stack Web Developing.

Familiarity with the Linux Kernel, driver model, and device tree.
Experience with using embedded Linux build tools such as Buildroot and Yocto for compiling operating systems for embedded Linux devices.
Familiarity with browserbased frontend Javascript frameworks such as Vue/React for creating Single Page Web Applications.
Basic understanding of HTML and CSS.

Having one or more of the following would be a great advantage:

Experience designing systems that are resilient to failure when left unattended for extended periods of time.
Experience with the frontend framework.
Experience with using cloud computing services such as AWS.

The working hours usually start from 8:30 AM but they are flexible in regards of starting time with a 7.5 hour day.

They offer 20 days of holiday per year, raising by one day per year worked to a total of 25 days of holiday.

Pay rate will be £35,000 - £50,000 depending on experience.
